Terms of Service

Initial Consultation:

After completing the Questionnaire on our Start Now page, you will be contacted by Juliana for an initial consultation that will take place approximately 30 – 45 minutes. She loves to e-meet every new client and will pair you up with the best consultant for your needs and goals. Cancellations:

If for any reason you are unable to make your appointment, you must inform Forty-Eight 10 as soon as possible before the scheduled time. If less than 10 working days notice of cancellation is given, 100% percent of your total fee will be non-refundable and rescheduling is possible at a later date. If between 10-15 working day notice is given 50% of your fee will be refunded. Cancellations over 15 working days are refunded minus $50 admin fee.

Rescheduling:

You may re-schedule your experience on the condition that you give Forty-Eight 10 a minimum of 10 working day notice prior to the date of the experience (for a fee of $40), otherwise you will be expected to attend your appointment at the agreed date and time.
If more than 15 days notice is given you can reschedule for free and $25 for each subsequent re-schedule.
Please note that due to our demanding scheduling requirements we are unable to cancel at short notice due to illness or other commitments that you may have.

Gift Vouchers:

Not all packages are available by Gift Voucher. We want to ensure that the recipient is accepting of the services being provided. There is a one year expiry on the vouchers however in some cases we can extend this for a fee. When purchasing gift vouchers please ensure that you have confirmed that Forty-Eight 10 covers your location. Please contact Robyn at info@fortyeight10.com for gift voucher purchase.

We are happy to refund the cost of your voucher as long as the voucher is returned to us within 15 days of receipt and you have not already exchanged or merged it, or made a booking. If you purchased your voucher from a third party we are not able to refund it and any refund would be at the discretion of that third party and you should return your voucher to them.

Travel Expenses:

The company has Forty-Eight 10 consultants in different cities however there may be some additional travel costs in remote areas. Please enquire before making a booking to avoid disappointment.

Sessions:

Forty-Eight 10 Style Consultancy will definitely try our best to accommodate your schedule. Scheduled sessions will usually take place between the hours of 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Evening sessions can take place until 9pm according to available slots. Sundays can be booked if agreed by the company.

Guests:

All packages are strictly for one person and spectators can only attend if required for medical reasons and/or pre-arranged by the company. If a spectator attends without prior notice, they will be asked to pay a spectator fee.

Preparation For Your Day

Home Visit:

Please ensure that you have your clothes and accessories are in a reasonable order open to view. For example; trousers together, tops together etc. This makes outfit selecting easier. If you have a Summer and a Winter Wardrobe please ensure that these items are all available for your style/image consultants.

Personal Boutique Experience:

Try to ensure that you wear comfortable clothes that are easy to take on and off as you’ll be trying on lots of different items.

Drinks and snacks will be served during this time and we understand accidents happen. If guidelines are not respected and a garment in ruined, it will need to be purchased by you.

We understand that alcoholic beverages may loosen your nerves and enhance the excitement, but please keep in mind that we honour your trust in us as your consultant. We desire to give you the best, quality service. We are not insulting you by refusing a drink. It is to serve you! If you desire a friend to be present for the experience, a spectator fee is an option. Please let your consultant know beforehand for supply preparation.

Online Style Consultant:

Please ensure that you fill in your questionnaire as thoroughly as possible and attach as many recent photographs of yourself.

Payment:

We accept PayPal for online payments. All payments must be completed 1 week prior to your style session.
An invoice will arrive via email after booking-in your date. Dates are not secured until full payment is received.

Aftercare:

We offer discounts to returning clients. All packages includes a Style Digital Look Book curated by their style consultant which will be sent electronically around a week after the session.

Belongings:

Clients are responsible for their belongings during the course of a styling session. The company does not accept responsibility for any lost property during the course of style sessions.

Legal:

Forty-Eight 10 Consultancy are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not disclose any customer information to any third party. All personal details submitted to us are for our use only. We will never pass your personal data to a third party.

Data Collection:

We will only collect details about you when you place an order. To place an order these will include your name and address, your email address, and various other details necessary to complete a transaction and fulfil your order. We do not collect any information which may be deemed “sensitive personal data” under the Data Protection Act.

Protection:

We will not retain any details that you provide, except for your email address. All client and enquirer’s email addresses are automatically entered into a database so they may receive occasional emails from us about our products or general advice about our products which may benefit them. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing emails from us by unsubscribing at the bottom of any sent emails or by email info@fortyeight10.com.

Consent:

Your submission of an order is deemed to be your consent to provide us with your details. We use no other means of data collection.

Credit & Debit Card Payments:
